Another high profile contract has been won by Red CCTV. As part of the £1.2 billion upgrade on the London to Norwich route and the East Anglian Rail Network. The project encompasses various infrastructure upgrade works. Red CCTV’s innovative Fastmast Solar Tower will be used on some sections, along with other battery and hybrid-powered systems.
In addition to various projects won on other sectors, the project win solidifies Red CCTV’s position as the dominant provider of security services to the UK rail industry.

Red CCTV is delighted to announce it was the subject of a lead article in the April edition of Rail Engineer Magazine- the leading independent quality monthly magazine for engineers, project managers, directors and leading rail executive decision makers.
The article documents a recent project involving the use of a Solar CCTV tower to monitor a precariously located landslip on the East Coast Mainline. The innovative solution provided by Red CCTV allowed autonomous remote monitoring to avoid having to check on the condition of the land in person; which had already caused a reportable incident in which a Network Rail Contractor’s employee was injured.
The double page spread served to highlight the impact Red CCTV is having on the CCTV industry in the rail sector. A positive attitude combined with outside-the-box thinking ensures even the most unusual requests can be catered for.
Red CCTV were proud exhibitors at Infrarail 2016. The UK’s definitive rail infrastructure event and the largest UK rail exhibition this year, it was a great opportunity to meet with potential and current customers to discuss how to action and improve collaboration within the sector.
