RED CCTV hosted a stunning day of golf to raiser funds for two Manchester charities.
The CCTV security specialist joined forces with Flannery Plant Hire for the fundraiser at The Mere.
Former Manchester United and England legend Bryan Robson supported the event along with a host of businesses from around the UK>
The fundraiser was held to raise funds for The Christie and Steve Burne Charitable Trust.
Steve had been hoping to attend the fundraiser in person but had fallen ill and tragically lost his battle with cancer the very same day.
Red CCTV Managing Director Rob Kennedy said: “It was a brilliant day to raise funds in memory of an amazing man and it was heartbreaking to then discover he passed away literally as our event had finished.
“I’ve known Steve for some time and the work he has done to raise so much money himself, whilst all the time battling the disease himself, is quite astonishing.
Proud To Support The Christie and Steve Burne Charitable Trust
“I’d like to thank all the golfers who supported the event and of course, Flannery Plant Hire for making this possible.
“It was also amazing that Bryan Robson was able to play and hand out the prizes to the winners.”
Red CCTV utilised their own market leading CCTV towers by placing one next to the green on the par 3 eighth hole for the ‘Nearest The Pin Challenge’
The result was very nearly a hole-in-one with an effort that landed barely two inches from the pin.
The PTZ camera systems used by Red CCTV utilise software analytics which automatically detect and record movement.
