Soccer legends join Red CCTV for their charity golf day to raise funds for the Starlight Unit.

Former Manchester United legends Denis Irwin and Kevin Moran joined forces with ex-Liverpool and Leeds United star Dominic Matteo for the charity golf day.

The Starlight Unit is based at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), and is a child-friendly centre designed specifically to help young patients feel welcome.

Red CCTV Founder Rob Kennedy feels indebted to the Unit and it’s staff after his own son, required treatment.

Heroes

Rob said: “The staff there are brilliant, real heroes who are totally committed to helping other people.

“We were fortunate to come through our own difficulties but it  was their dedication and care which struck me most.

“We wanted to say a little thank you and, thanks to the generosity of some of our golfers, we were able to raise a a lot of money to say thank you.”

The Golf Day, held at The Mere, was a terrific success and everyone had a great day.
